About MSP Events API

Using the MSP Events API, you can export the supported events and take the following benefits -

  • Get all the supported events in a single API call
  • Monitor the reported failures and take corrective actions
  • Integrate the exported events with the third-party SIEM tool

Supported MSP Events

The following list shows the details of MSP events that you can export by using the MSP-level Events API:

category  string

The category of the event. The possible values are: EVENT AUDIT ALERT.

adminId  integer

Unique ID of the admin.

ipAddress  string

IP of the admin logging-in to the MSP account.

role  integer

Role of the user (admin / client). This field might support additional values in future. 2- MSP Admin 3- Tenant Admin 4- ReadOnly Admin 5- Client Credential 6- Recovery Client Credential. The possible values are: 2 3 4 5 6. 

email  string

Email ID of admin.

firstName  string

First name of admin.

lastName  string

Last name of admin.

method  string

Method being used by user (admin/client) to login to the MSP account. The possible values are: SSO Password Token.

Type of the entity for which the event has happened.

globalID  string

MSP global ID value

timeStamp  integer

The epoch representation of the time at which the event occurred.

syslogFacility  integer

Syslog standard of defining the event origin/type.

syslogSeverity  integer

SyslogSeverity represents the severity(0-7) of the event.

type  string

Type of the event. For example, 'AdminLoginSuccess' or 'ClientCreated'. This event's title is its type.

Set to true to provide MSP Administrators an option to use a password to sign in to Managed Services Center even if SSO is enabled for administrators. Only MSP Administrators get the privilege to use a password to sign in to Managed Services Center.
