Procedure

  1. Click the Sign-up to begin the registration process. You will be redirected to the Signup Window.
  2. Provide your required details and select Create Sandbox Account. An account activation email will be sent to your provided address.
  3. In the email, click the Activate my Account link. This will direct you to the Cloud Service Agreement.
  4. Review and accept the Cloud Service Agreement. You will then be taken to the Account Activation page to set your password.
  5. Set your password and then log in to your Sandbox Account.
  6. Upon successfully signing up and setting your password, you can log in to your Sandbox Account. This environment allows you to explore, test, and familiarize yourself with the platform's various features and functionalities.

  • The Sandbox environment is free of charge.
  • The account is valid for one year from the day of activation and can further be extended before expiry.
  • The account has limited resources and is strictly intended for testing applications.

  1. Do I need to be a Druva customer to create a developer Sandbox account?

    No, you do not need to be an active Druva customer. Independent software vendors (ISVs), partners, and developers can sign up to build integrations. You only need a valid business email address to proceed.

  2. Is the Sandbox account free of charge?

    Yes, the Developer Sandbox account is free of charge. It is designed to facilitate development and comes with limited storage capacity for testing purposes. The account is valid for one year from the date of activation and can be extended before it expires. ​

  3. Is there any support available?

    Yes. Developers have access to Druva’s API, developer guides along with the Developer Support and security team to assist with technical queries, architecture validation, and troubleshooting during the build and submission process.

  4. After app listing, how are apps consumed, shared with partners, and where are users managed?

    Consumption: Once an app is approved and listed on the Druva Marketplace, customers can browse, authorize, and install the app directly from the Marketplace portal.
    Partner Distribution: If you build a private app or wish to distribute it to specific partners without a public listing, you can securely share it by provisioning specific API credentials (Client ID/Secret).
    User Management: Test users, roles, and API credentials are created and managed directly within your Sandbox environment's administrative console during the development phase.
